We also offer a great value package that includes a one-day adult lift ticket for Kusatsu Onsen Ski Resort.
A separate lift ticket can be provided for the second day upon request.
■Rental items for children■
At Bergland, we have received positive feedback from everyone, and although it is very old-fashioned,
We offer rental kids' ski sets and clothing for the low price of 1,100 yen and 1,100 yen, respectively.
Feel free to try skiing even if it's your first time! *Children's lift tickets are not included.

Kusatsu Area Information

Kusatsu Onsen Pension Bergland is surrounded by hiking spots, hot springs, tourist facilities, golf courses, ski resorts, and many other recommended spots for each season!
While it's only about a 20-minute walk to the famous "Yubatake"Yubatake), we can also take you there at a specified time.
Also, within walking distance, you can enjoy hot springs such as "Otakinoyu"Kusatsu Onsen and "Nishi no Kawa Large Open-Air Bath".
Furthermore, during the summer season, you can enjoy golf at "Kusatsu Country Club" and "Kusatsu Kogen Golf Course".
During the winter season, you can enjoy skiing and snowboarding at Kusatsu Onsen Ski Resort, and even go for a snowshoeing excursion!
We will introduce you to tourist spots where you can make fun memories while staying at Bergland.

      Yubatake

      The tourist attraction "Yubatake" is about a 20-minute walk away.
      Yubatake) is located in the center of town.
      If you look down from the rising steam, you can see the hot spring water gushing out endlessly.
      4,000 litres flows naturally every minute and the temperature is around 53 degrees.
      The area around Yubatake has been developed into a plaza where you can relax on benches or enjoy a footbath at the footbath area.
      Furthermore, at night you can enjoy the fantastical sight of the Yubatake (hot Yubatake illuminated by lights.

      Otakinoyu

      The facility has a warm wooden feel.

      The sound of hot spring water gushing down like a waterfall and the rising steam.

      Summer Mt Tengu Play Zone

      In winter, it's a ski resort, and in summer, it transforms into the "Tenguyama Play Zone," a field for recreation!
      The green season is also full of attractions!
      At Tenguyama Ski Slope, there are mountain carts that are very popular with children,
      "BanZIP TENGU" is an attraction that offers thrills and spectacular views, with a total length of 500m, an elevation difference of 108m, and a top speed of 70km/h, starting from the summit Mt Tengu
      You can also enjoy the giant 10-meter-high swing called "SKY-SWING".

      Kusatsu Onsen Ski Resort

      The ski resort was renamed from Kusatsu International Ski Resort to Kusatsu Onsen Ski Resort.
      Parking fees at ski resorts are charged during the New Year holidays (December 28th to January 5th).

      This is a ski resort where you can also enjoy long course for skiing and snowboarding.
