Access Information

Immediately after passing the roadside station and under the footbridge you will come to the Italian restaurant Italo. Turn right in front of it and head towards Via Scriba.
Continue along the road with Hotel Resort on your left and Hotel Kuwabio on your right, then curve right and you will come to a roundabout.
Pass Michinari and with Kusatsu Clinic on your left, you will come to a Y-shaped alley. Turn right for about 300m and you will reach Pension Bergland.

  • About pick-up and drop-off

    【Transportation to Bergland】
    If you are coming by public transport, we will provide a shuttle from Kusatsu Onsen Bus Terminal to Bergland.
    Please call us after 3:00 p.m. and we will come to pick you up.

    【Transportation to the hot spring town】
    We will leave the pension at 19:00 and take you to the Yubatake Yubatake hot springs, where you will be picked up at 20:00.
    Outside these hours, please walk (approximately 20 minutes) or come by car.

    【Transfers after check-out】
    Once you are ready, we will take you to Kusatsu Onsen Bus Terminal.
